Foundation Day Festival: Food Tent

Character(s): everyone in the food tent
Content: food, and lots of it.
Setting: Joco da Crianca Fairgrounds, food tent
Time: all day~
Warnings: Multithreaded posting format (please include time of day and sub-location in your comment's subject line)

The food tent is the second biggest structure at the fair, next to the Ferris wheel. It's a large white tent set up near the far end of the grounds. Inside, the majority of the tent is filled with long tables (with white plastic tablecloths) and benches for seating.

The food, along one side of the tent, is set up buffet-style. They have a wide variety of hot and cold dishes, and it's all good stuff, having been catered by Café Ersesat. It's always well-stocked, too, somehow; if they run out of anything, it's replenished within a few minutes. There is also a small bar, where alcoholic drinks and cocktails are available upon request to anyone who looks old enough.

Naruto's hopeful expression quickly turned into a concerned frown when Itachi suddenly dropped his food and sat down. Without a second thought the Jinchuuriki dropped all the food he was holding back on the table and knelt down in front of the Uchiha.

"Itachi, are you alright?" he said, carefully placing a hand on the other's shoulder. Perhaps the game hadn't been such a good idea after all or...?

Itachi closed his eyes, trying to maintain a fragile balance in his position on the floor. Typically, it was easy to be balanced with your ass on the floor, but with everything reeling and memory after memory assaulting his mind, the Uchiha wasn't so certain that there was anything easy about it.

"Naruto-san, can we leave?" Right now, he was pretty sure that he needed to lay down. That was not something that he could do in the tent. It just wouldn't be appropriate. Not for a shinobi of his status.

"Sure, of course," was the immediate reply. Itachi certainly didn't look well and it seemed as if he had a hard time just keeping balance despite the fact he was sitting. Not good at all. With practiced ease Naruto slipped an arm around him and stood up. For a moment he looked around to see if the path was clear and once it was, guided Itachi out of the tent and off the festival grounds all together.
