Dropping the cloak onto Timon hadn't been his intention, nor meaning it was Timon he was saying good riddance to. However, the meerkat was getting rather easily under his skin. He scowled further as Timon began to scold him, but when Timon's accidental words reached him it made his scowl vanish from his face.
There was a very long pause of silence before Timon would find the cloak being slowly lifted off him and the demon's face peering down at him looking rather stunned. Laharl stared down at him, speechless for a long moment, before finally he diverted his eyes, a twinge of regret showing in his expression.
Without a word, he slipped the navy cloak back around him, pulling it back over his head. Turning back to his plate, he pushed it away from him, his appetite was now lost, and folded his arms onto the tabletop, resting his head down onto them with a sigh. "It... still wouldn't work. I'd still stick out anyways, you know," he uttered softly and truthfully. It was rather the truth. Laharl's features were just too tell-tale to hide simply by a change of clothes.
