Of course Laharl didn't want to be hiding. It didn't take a genius to figure something like that out. As he had noted, it was unlike the overlord to be hiding in the first place. It wasn't something the demon would take pleasure in doing, feeling pride for his sense of authority. However, Timon failed to find such status in Laharl at the moment (not that he had ever really accepted it to begin with). Now he was just acting... Foolish.
Watching the prince's cloak fall to the ground, everything fell black. The rodent could no longer see his friend, now buried under the article of clothing tossed aside, but he could still hear him mutter under his breath. Interpreting what Laharl was happy to rid of though proved more difficult. Was he referring to the cloak, or him?
He stood in silence for a moment, listening to the sounds of the Lords fork picking through his plates content. It didn't sound like there was any more to what he had said, failing to help the redhead out in the slightest. That hardly appeared a problem though because at this point, he didn't care if the young prince wanted to get rid of him.
"Would you grow up?" the meerkat finally snapped, struggling to free himself from under the cloak. "You're acting like a kid. 'I don't wanna wear this, I don't wanna do that...' I was only trying to help, you got that? What if the wrong guy notices you? What if 'you know who' sees you and wants another round, hu? I couldn't help you before, but I'm tryin' to make up for that now. Don't you get it? I don't want somethin' like that to happen to you again!"
Suddenly Timon's struggling stopped, his paws likely to have thrown themselves over his mouth. Perhaps being buried in the article of clothing wasn't all that bad at this point.
