Ahnassi nodded solemnly at the rat's statement. "Oh yes, this is not Ahnassi's world, either," she informed him. "Ahnassi is quite sure of this, because Nirn has two moons, Masser and Secunda, and this place only has one." True, it was a painted moon on the ceiling of the dome, but Ahnassi thought that if the world had two moons like Nirn, the creators of the city would have included both on the sky. They'd gone to a lot of trouble for everything else, after all. The thought of being on another world hadn't been that surprising to her, since the realms of Oblivion weren't technically on Nirn, and she had wondered more than a few times whether she might have ended up in one of those realms somehow.

She thought that Remy was probably from another world too. The places he named were as strange to her as hers were to him. "Ahnassi does not know how she got here either," she told him. "Many people come here from other places. No one knows how it happens or why. All of them are trapped here, maybe forever. Ahnassi does not know for certain."

The Khajiit wondered if that information would make her new acquaintance unhappy. He had mentioned friends earlier. If what she suspected was true, then he might not ever see them again. That was a very sad thought, especially if they were very close friends. "Remy did not want to hear such a thing, Ahnassi thinks," she said apologetically. "She is sorry to give such bad news."
