"I have plenty of ideas to keep us busy," Mello admitted. Not that that should surprise anyone. If there was nothing constructive to do, at least he never lacked ways to get into trouble. Paixao was missing far too many things he valued, but he'd yet to find a place that could stifle that urge and quell his addiction to the adrenaline rush of danger. This one was no different.
Mello was perfectly aware that Matt had an ego nearly as big as his own, if focused differently and not as obvious. He didn't mind; someone who didn't was likely to get run over by him without him even meaning to do it. He knew his personality tended to overwhelm people; he just didn't care enough to try and prevent it from happening. That would take far too much effort, assuming he were capable of it at all.
"If you're good enough, maybe I'll do your shopping for you," Mello whispered, lips curved in a smirk, before he kissed him again. Nothing wrong with a little incentive, was there? He knew Matt hated going out; of course he took shameless advantage of that knowledge. Assuming they even made it home first, which was beginning to be more doubtful than he had expected.
