Matt tilted his head, "Were you wanting me to give you a list in public so that everyone has reason to call you that?" He rolled his eyes and flicked the ashes off his cigarette again, noticing that (regrettably) it was almost finished. Taking the final drag off, he snuffed it out in his tea before tossing it; the drink tasted like shit, anyway. Giving a snort as well as a bit of a chuckle, he shook his head, running a hand through his hair, "Maybe I have forgotten. You'll have to refresh my memory just in case." He didn't mind the back-and-forth between Mello; it made him feel less edgy from being in a new place.
He hated the public in general, but the entire experience of a new city, new people, and being out around all of them put Matt on edge and made him a little irritable. Not that it was noticeable to most people; he seemed calm as ever.
"An island?" It seemed hard to believe he'd randomly landed on an island with no explanation, but seeing as though he had his best friend and was lacking the whole 'death' bit, he didn't mind so much. Although he did still want to talk to the person in charge and find out exactly why he'd been brought back. Nothing special about him, really. At least Mello was a genius at almost everything. Except maybe common sense.
Shrugging yet again, Matt tipped his chair back again, balancing it out. He realized he was going to fall sooner or later. Although hopefully it was 'later', rather than 'sooner'. Trying to keep it slightly light hearted, the red head shook his head. "If you meant for me to die, blondie, I'd be terribly offended that you didn't share the information. I'd like to make sure they put something half decent on the headstone."
Matt returned the smile, though shook his head again, "I might, you never know." Heaving a sigh, he stretched out a bit, chair faltering for a moment, Matt catching the edge of the table to keep from toppling over. Trying to brush it off as having been intentional, he cleared his throat a bit. "Besides, can't have you going 'round killing people just for touching me, kitten. It's not very nice, now is it?" He definitely liked the fact Mello could catch every bit of sarcasm Matt threw at him.
