Garnet hesitated and took a step back from him. "No, you must believe me when I say I do not remember!" She would fight against him if she had to, even if her strength was not on par with his. In the back of her mind, she could hear the eidolons calling to her, offering reassurance that they would protect her and her resolve grew.

"I am no queen, and you would do well to remember your place when addressing me, Zidane!" Garnet said firmly, trying her best to understand the outburst, why he was screaming at Larxene. A glance around, expecting some imaginary enemy to show up, and Garnet knew it was a bout of paranoia.
