beyond exhaustion [completed]

Character(s): Nobunaga, Oichi, (possibly anyone else).
Content: Nobunaga and Oichi decide on the Actua Are hotel close to Folios, so they could see about getting his armor and sword cleaned in the morning.
Setting: O13 - The Actua Are hotel on the 'edge' of the Lower Class.
Time: Early morning I guess.
Warnings: None.

If he had felt exhausted earlier, then this was clearly beyond exhaustion, in which carrying Oichi and traveling over such large distances and exhausting all of his energy reserves made his body. His stop wasn't as graceful as it should have, and when he released his sister, he felt himself lurch forward, supporting himself up by using his already battered sword.

He ignored the look that he knew the girl was giving him and shoved her in the direction of the entrance. "I know you have some yen in that pouch of yours." - he muttered, straightening out so he could at least look semi-presentable before walking into this establishment, but still using his sword as a makeshift cane.

"Brother..."Oichi frowned, shaking her head. She was worried about him, and knew that he had completely overdone it that day.

Reaching into her pouch, she pulled out all the yen she had on her person and handed it over to Nobunuaga. "You're resting for three whole days before I even let you get out of bed. You're going to get sick if you keep running around, Brother." She warned, crossing her arms over her chest. She had a look on her face that told him not to argue, as it would've gotten him nowhere.

A young woman with long blonde hair immediately approached Nobunaga, with a bit of hesitance. Since there was usually not rather intimidating looking black-haired men wandering around Paixao, it was slightly unnerving. Hesitantly, she bowed to him graciously, and looked up at him - nervously.

"H-hello sir. Welcome to Actua Are, how can I be of service to you?"

The woman shifted nervously from foot to foot as she waited for man to respond. When he finally did she was caught off guard, and stepped back slightly, before regaining her composure. "Y-yes. Right this way, please," she said, nodding toward a corridor and turning to walk hesitantly down it. She stopped herself from turning to see if the man was following or not.

She couldn't stop herself from stealing a glance behind her, but afterwards she wished she hadn't. The sight of his sword had almost made her shiver, had she not been able to repress it in time. She came to a door at the end of the hall and abruptly stopped in front of it. Taking a room key from her pocket, she unlocked the door and let it swing open.

"This will be your room s-sir," she said, eyes downcast as she extended the key toward him. Her mind was in such a haze that she couldn't even form the words to ask how long he might be staying or to discuss the room payment.

Her eyes widened, and she took a deep breath. His words weren't exactly helping her to calm down. She shook her head and instead turned to the question at hand. The payment.

"What is your currency?" she asked. She was rather used to this by now. When people came from many different worlds they never had the same currency. Depending on the situation, she mostly just took what she thought looked right. In this case, she'd be willing to take whatever she was offered, if it would allow her to leave.

She nodded at the bills. She didn't know too much about the exchange rates for it, so she said simply, "It shouldn't be too much. Please do only what you can afford."

As for his second question... She shuffled her feet a bit before looking up. "We provide a few meals, but please understand that we are primarily a hotel..." Her voiced trailed off and she nodded again, hoping the answer would satisfy him.

"Kimono...?" she said, stumbling over the unfamiliar word, "Well, I'm not sure about there be any kimono, but you may be able to find clothing down at Auntie Unde's." She thought for a moment before continuing, "It's just south-west of here, and not far at all. It should be on your map." She assumed that he would be carrying a journal, as everyone did.

The tinge of a smile formed on her lips as he bowed to her and she returned in kind. "Thank you very much sir," she replied before exiting the room, leaving the man to his privacy.
