Link was doing his best to goad this man on. Whatever else he had in mind, he would likely forget in rage - and rage was something Link could deal with, unlike this unsettling calm. He'd seen a spark of that rage moments ago; all he had to do was kindle it, nurture it.

He might be hurt in the process, but it was unlikely to be worse than what this man had in mind for him anyway...
