Garnet's eyes widened, and she ducked, her arms over her head as the whirring train came ever closer. She didn't make a sound, though it would be a lie to say she wasn't scared at all. She knew Yoda hadn't been trying to hurt her, but this was going to be it--

She had almost forgotten about Ifrit's presence, and she didn't understand completely the summon's will to protect the summoner. She heard the train crash against something, the bending of metal, and the ground cracking beneath her feet, and beneath her summon's.

She slowly, slowly stood up, her hair flowing crazily about her, despite being held by her barrette. She could have laughed in her utter thanks for this creature that she had summoned, almost purely on accident.

He set the train down as gently as he could manage, which more or less resulted in dropping it where it was. Ifrit looked at Garnet one moment more, to be assured that she was safe, though he couldn't stay any longer if she weren't. She smiled and nodded, and he knew he could leave safely.

With Ifrit gone, however, that left Garnet in a predicament, knowing that the fox would surely go after someone who seemed harmless, and she was really. She didn't feel as though she could summon again, not even Shiva. She took a step back from the train, and took her rod out.

She would defend herself to the best of her abilities, then! That was all she could do!
