He barely felt himself hit the floor. He barely felt anything except the overwhelming pain as he lay there, tears forming in his vacant eyes, gasping for air as he even was barely holding onto consciousness. His singed body continued to twitch and spasm as he lay there in a heap.

It wasn't long before dusks appeared and lifted him from the floor, taking him back to the cells, but he was barely aware of what was happening around him.
