Vincent had been up for about an hour or so, long before the silver haired Sailor would wake up, and some time after he feel asleep again. He spent the early morning on the rooftop, fiddling with his "journal." Searching through he found Yaten's. What he read made him almost double over in pain. Clutching his claw to his heart, he felt the beast rise up in him, taunting him.
"HA! You are worthless! You can't even be around others. An outcast!" the thing, Chaos, said to him. "You're just going to hurt him, why bother? You're nothing but a waste of life." The incessant laughter wouldn't stop.
"Shut up! I don't want to hear it," he said out loud to himself. Somehow Vincent could see the beast inside him still laughing at him. But he was right. Yaten told him last night that he could empathize with others on an entirely different level. For two normal people, hell, anyone who wasn't Vincent, that would be a very good thing to have in a relationship. But Vincent knew the monsters that lurked within him. Chaos was the most prominent but others hide away, farther from his mind's eye. Death Gigas, Hellmasker were just to name a few. Oh how Hojo laughed as he forced these..things into the TURK's body. Thinking of the Professor only mad him angry, something Chaos enjoyed.
"Yes! Be angry! He fucked your woman! He fucked you up! He's probably going to fuck with your new little pet too!" Again with the laughing from the beast.
"She is not my pet!" Vincent yelled into the silent morning.
"It's not even a she! It's an it! Guess you like the freaks don't you?" Vincent seething with anger knew what he had to do. If he stayed with Yaten he knew he would only make the boy's life harder and might pull him into the deep spiral of depression that was impossible to escape. He scribbled a quick note on his journal, and placed it back into his pocket.
"I'm sorry..." With that the Ex-Turk took a step over the ledge, Chaos' evil laughter still clouding his mind.
