Garnet stared at the food, and awkwardly took hold of one of the forks and one of the knives. It looked strange, but she deduced that was because she had never really seen food. Or rather, she didn't remember seeing any sort of food. As she cut the chicken, she wondered what it would taste like.
How could she forget what food tasted like, though? She ignored the noise of those around her. Which, she should have realized, was simply Daxter being obnoxious as he was wont to do. However, taking a bite out of the food didn't turn to be as disastrous as it had been for Yoda. She found that she rather liked the taste, and was thus surprised when Yoda reacted so violently towards it.
Another bite or two later, as Yoda had went to attend to something, she was also very thankful for Daxter's suggestion of drinks. And she took a sip of the water.
But when Yoda returned, she had to refrain from putting a hand over her nose at the smell of the concoction he had brought back. It didn't smell pleasant at all, she knew that much, and it was all too hard to ignore. But she was too polite to make any sort of demands, and she didn't want to offend the person who had been so kind to her.
