Daxter didn't really care about the conversation coming up, so instead focused on the food that was being placed in front of him. With there being no beer, he was only slightly disappointed, but they definitely needed something to drink this all down with, didn't they?

So he turned to the waiter. "Hey! How d'ya expect us to eat with nothin' to drink?! Go get some water for us! Eesh!" he said, tapping his foot on the chair while the waiter quickly ran off to do that.

... He should have asked for a booster chair while he was at it.
