Daxter had been unusually quiet along the walk there, or at least for the first half. The second half it was just too quiet, so Daxter had settled for making random, rhetorical observations. He was still very adamant about one thing. "Some architects need to be fired! Not even Haven City looked this bad!"

He wasn't particularly hungry, not until they got into the cafe. And then, he realized, he was ravenous. He hadn't eaten since the night before, and it felt like hours had passed inbetween his arrival to this strange city (sans his best friend, which damnit, this was the second time that had happened) and their entrance into the cafe.

He could do with some food, sure. And nothing was better than making sure he got to eat it with a pretty girl. As soon as Yoda and Garnet sat down, Daxter assumed his place at the table. Right in Garnet's lap.
