"Yes?" Briar had prompted expectantly. When an apology rather than a name left his mouth, however, Briar pursed her lips together and drew her eyebrows together. "You don't know your name..?"

"Have you hit your head?" she questioned, a look of heartfelt concern marring her pretty face. "Should we find a doctor?" A place as large as this was certain to have doctors, she felt, or at least somebody familiar with healing. She tossed a confused look about herself, then lifted her journal. "We could probably use this! I think I saw a classified board, of sorts."
