The door slammed shut behind and left Valerie there, nose pressed against the bars. A low growl escaped her throat and she kicked angrily at the bars, ignoring the searing pain that shot up her leg. WHY? Just when she might have been able to do something for Danny, they take Jazz away. She was the only one here Valerie knew, and was the only thing that was keeping Valerie from totally breaking down.
She knees sunk to the floor, and she covered her head in her hands, her usually combed hair a mess on her head. This just needs to end, she thought bitterly.
