An Ungainly Entrance [completed]
Character(s): Vexen and a hapless gatekeeper
Content: ... An entry post, maybe?
Setting: Niflheim Gate
Time: Noonish.
Warnings: Vexen is a customer-service nightmare.
Vexen was nothing short of peeved when he realized he had to wait in the line with everyone else. He, one of the most important Nobodies to enter this city, having to wait in a line? Outrage! So, naturally, he stormed to the head of the line, ignoring the complaints of many people behind him, stepped on someone's feet, and proceeded to loom over a diminuitive blonde gatekeeper.
Who clearly didn't know who he was. "Sir, you need to get back in the line like everyone els-"
"No, I most certainly do not. If I am to grace your city with my presence at all, I will recieve my entry gifts and do so NOW!" he snapped. "What's your name? I'm going to have to tell the Mayor about the terrible service I'm getting here!" Without waiting for an answer or giving anyone the benefit of his name, he reached over the counter, picked up an electronic journal and a pamphlet for himself, and stormed off through the gate, infuriated and mentally reciting the Peroidic Table to calm down.
His new laboratory in this city had better make up for this treatment. And his new test subjects as well. As it was, things were not boding well...
