Enter Revy
Character(s):Revy/hop in if you want! ;D
Content: Revy arrives in Paixao and isn't particularly happy about it.
Setting: Niflheim Gate.
Time: Mid-day. :o
Warnings: Revy curses, a lot. If you don't like language, stay awaaaay. ;D
An untied boot's rhythm beat out upon the dusty ground. Something with guitar, drums, epic vocals? Or maybe something a little faster, something harder. This wasn't working. Her arms crossed over her ample chest, throwing her head back and sighing explosively. The woman frowned, stopped the tapping and moved forward, pushing the fools in her way.
Revy was fed up. And Revy did not like being fed up.
She shoved her way past the faceless idiots who dared to block her path, towards the twin gates of Niflheim. Grunting curses and muttering profanities as she pushed and shoved her way through the crowd, Revy gritted her teeth for an inevitable clash.
Facing the booth, she planted her feet defiantly, snapping her Berettas free from their shoulder holsters for easy access in case she needed them. Crossing her arms, she looked squarely into the face of the sunny man who was running it at the moment.
"Oi, fuckhead. How long is this going to take before you let me in?"
The guard regarded her cheerfully, smiling wider than Revy thought possible for anyone. "Well, ma'am, if you insist on being let in so soon, I guess we can accommodate you! Can I get your name, ma'am?" The man clicked a pen twice, retracting and extending it, poised over a black clipboard.
Revy frowned, gritting her teeth. "My name is Revy. R-E-V-Y. Don't fuck it up, sunshine." She looked away impatiently as the man scribbled on his clipboard. This is too easy, Revy thought. They're just gonna let me in? The fuck.
The man looked up at her, grinning widely as he held out a slim black piece of plastic and a handful of brochures. "Here's your journal and some information about Paixao. Please enjoy your stay, Ma'am!"
Revy snatched the brochures and journal from the man rudely, jamming them into the front of her shirt. "Yeah, whatever. Fucking cheery bastard." She waved her hand dismissively, already willing herself to forget such a boring event and headed into Paixao, unaware of what this city would hold for her.
