Characters: Xemnas and Roxas, and eventually Namine.
Content: After Larxene's successful capture of the elusive number XIII, Xemnas decides it's time for a heart-to-heart with the boy. Roxas had best not have his hopes up.
Setting: Unknown.
Time: Sometime after this thread.
Warnings: None at present.
Xemnas took his sweet time, and no one could say anything about it. His methods and mannerisms were always controlled, and he carried them out in his own time. Every word he said had an inherent meaning, and was all too necessary, whether or not his subordinates wanted to believe such or not. He was the Superior, and the title was not a useless crown adorned on his head. It meant something.
It meant that he was the one in charge, he lead the Organization and he decided the course of action. He picked the experiments, and he had the final say on any plans to be made. No one acted without his approval. The first instance of a mistake was a warning, the second mess up would be hell to pay. If the crime were bad enough, Xemnas would not tolerate it. However, if the pawn were all too necessary, he could make concessions.
However, his concessions always had a string attached. But, better a string than any other fate he planned out. Roxas should have considered himself lucky. He should have been glad that Larxene had been generous and forgiving in their fight. He was not, and he did not intend to forgive quite as easily.
Too much time had been wasted on his retrieval, and he wanted it burned into the boy's mind. He was the Superior. Betrayal was not an option. Pain, or worse, Death, were.
The portal he'd created opened into the room, pure white, with no doors, nor windows. Just him, and Roxas.
And he had all the time in the world.
"Explain yourself, XIII."
