Food and Conversation!
Character(s): Toph, Terra, Raven, Sanzo and whoever else is at the kitchen
Content: They're getting something to eat. Because they're hungry.
Setting: Lady of Lords Soup Kitchen [F5]
Time: Morning
Warnings: None that I know of.
Getting to the soup kitchen when you're in Joutenheim was easier said than done. While the snow had been a hindrance, between Toph and Terra's combined earth abilities they had managed to not freeze. When they got to the center of Paixao, the weather was moderately ok, and this made them both able to approach the Paixao Central Station without a care in the world.
When they reached the Station, they were able to get a pity ride to Vanaheim, Terra playing off on Toph's blindness and their sudden poverty. Toph was sure this wasn't going to work, but it had, and the long ride had left them over at the Glass Bonsai, where Terra oo-ed and ah-ed over the strange items until Toph pulled her out of the place and out of the shop, where minutes later they were finally at the entrance of Lady of Lords Soup Kitchen. It was raining hard and it was only Toph and Terra's patience and laughter that had prevented tempers from flaring. By the time they got into the building, they were soaked to the bone but in good spirits. It had been a long night, and they were glad that although it was wet as all hell in Vanaheim, it was still a better alternative to freezing to death. In addition, Toph could feel everything a lot easier now, and so she wouldn't have to put shoes on after all.
The two walked into the place and Toph felt herself relax. There were a lot of indistinguishable people here, and she was hungry after all that traveling. She winked at Terra and the two of them got in line, got themselves a bowl of chowder with bread and some water to wash it down. They both sat down and began to devour hungrily.
"Ahh," Toph sighed, burping loudly. "I can't think of a more fitting reward for us, could you?" She stretched her arms and grinned. "So...what do you know about this girl that's asking about you...Raven, you said her name was?"
