Vash frowned, and opened his mouth to say something, but then hesitated as he apparently changed his mind. "I noticed all those posts on the message board about finding people... you might have a point there." It made Vash wonder if there was anyone else from Gunsmoke here. He could always make a post like that himself... but what if he found an enemy instead of a friend? It wasn't a good idea to go around shouting that he was here, in that case. Even if no one here knew who he really was, announcing his presence on that sort of scale made him uneasy.

"I wouldn't know. I haven't seen anyone from my planet here yet," he said after a moment with a smile and a shrug. "I'm not even sure if that's a good thing or not." This Paixao city was richer and more comfortable than Gunsmoke, sure, but the way things worked here were kind of strange. A nice place for a visit, but not to stay. Now there was a good question.
