Jayne wanted to frown at the other man but he didn't. Jayne might not have been the sharpest pencil, but he could tell when people were holding out on him. Usually it involved money, but information was often money in it's own right.
So Vash had stuck on a rock instead of taking to space. That wasn't totally uncommon, some people spent their whole lives on one rock and never saw even the nearest satellite.
And then Jayne decided he really didn't care, anyway. It wasn't like he was ever going to see Vash's home world.
Looking out the window, he watched the rain for a moment before a new question came to mind. "So how long's this 'rain' stuff supposed to last anyway?"
