Vash looked to the boy with a smile, sounding faintly confused, "Why wouldn't he be serious?" Sure, he didn't know Jayne very well, but he saw no reason for him to lie to a kid. Not to mention that Vash was familiar enough with space travel himself that he didn't think it such a strange thing at all.
He turned to Jayne then, not even looking at the donuts as he snagged another one out of the box, "What sort of a ship was it?" Vash was wondering if they were anything like the ships back at home - and if they were powered by Plants, too.
