Vash winced, and dug a hand into an inner pocket on his coat, pulling out one of the boxes of bullets he had purchased just earlier that day. "Will this do?" he asked, dumping a handful of them on the table. He wasn't all that surprised when the shopkeep scooped up the whole lot of them with a curt nod.
Replacing the box of bullets, he then grabbed the donut box, flipping it open and beaming a smile at seeing all the pastries in there. The first one Vash grabbed was devoured in about ten seconds. The second one, a plain glazed, he held out to Jayne with a grin. "Here, try it!"
