"I suppose they've lived here long enough to where they didn't need to actually come, purposefully or not." Pegasus agreed. "Or perhaps they were drawn here too, once upon a time? It would be positively ghoulish if people who got pulled here were turned into them, don't you think? A real-life rendition of Stepford Wives...." Only gender-neutral, evidently, or he would be thankful for being a man. That would be quite a conspiracy theory, wouldn't it? ....Oh, hopefully that reference wouldn't be too obscure for Teru. It was American, after all....
The thought of not looking like a real person--and metrosexual, coming from Chizuru--might have hurt Pegasus' feelings, had he heard it--but he wasn't scanning anyone's mind at the moment, so the thoughts remained entirely private. He smiled at her little start then more broadly as the friendly expression was reciprocated, politely ignoring it and remaining where he was--he didn't want to antagonize her, after all. She looked nervous enough already.... "You're the only other one around here without blonde hair--I just thought it might be best for all of us who came here to put our heads together and think of how to go back home. What do you think about that, hmm?"
