Jintetsu's eye narrowed just a bit; that didn't sound good at all. If they weren't letting people leave, it could easily mean they were looking for someone. He hadn't done anything wrong here - in fact, it had been a few weeks since the last time he'd killed anybody - so it wasn't likely to be him. That didn't necessarily ensure anyone would leave him alone, though.

It was definitely worth checking. "What do you mean, can't leave town?" he asked carefully.
