This is not Giruvegan... [completed]

Character(s): Ashe
Content: Ashe enters Paixao~
Setting: Joutenheim gate
Time: Early morning
Warnings: none

Ashe never expected there to be such magnificent gates in the middle of Feywood, but something tells her she is not there anymore. The Feywood is laden with mist so thick that she can see it, but the woods she just left looked pretty empty.

Taking a hesitant step forward, Ashe waits in front of the man with golden hair as he scribbles on his pad. Ashe was not one to be patient, but she was still trying to figure out the recent events anyway. They had been trying to figure out the strange glyphes, but she cannot remember how she got herself separated.

Ashe turns her attention back to the man when she heard him mumble something. "Pardon me?" The man lets out an exasperated sigh. The man's disrespect upsets her but lately she has learned not to expect too much courtesy from most.

"Name?" The man asks much too loudly.

Ashe had not been very careful about keeping her presence hidden, but most people wouldn't recognize her face anyway. Her name however, is notorious. "Amalia," she tells him, hoping that he wouldn't ask her for a surname. Ashe is not quite good at coming up with names. Even Amalia was Vossler's creation.

"Right," the man replies before scribbling on his pad again. "Here's for you and those are brochures," he shoves a white square object to her while pointing to a stack of booklets on his left. "Welcome to Paixao, lassie," he grins rather menacingly, "Have a nice long stay." The man's wheezy laughter did little to quench the uneasiness Ashe feels.

Taking several random brochures from the stack, Ashe looks back to the woods once before going through the gate. She dislikes being alone. While she would never admit it, Ashe wishes that one of her companions is with her. Anyone would be better than no one, even the rude Vaan. Sighing in frustration, she looks over the brochures half-heartedly, making a note to herself that she should check the journal as well.
