Obviously, the arrancar had misinterpreted his words, because he had meant that an arrancar would be of very little use to him. Ishida was sure enough that they were of quite a bit of use to Aizen and the others – a man named Gin and another, wasn’t it? The teal-headed arrancar strode off after that. And, as always, what had seemed like something that would be a fruitful conversation turned out to be nothing but bird throwing and snide remarks. The Quincy sighed, shoving his hands into his pockets, only then remembering the electronic journal they had given him at the gate. He flipped the computer open, powering it on. It was a familiar piece of equipment, and it didn’t take him long to begin making some use of it.

Ishida flipped the journal closed and shoved it unceremoniously back into his pocket after – oh, how long had it been. He glanced to where he had last seen the arrancar walking away, and found that he wasn’t there anymore. With that, Ishida started off toward down the road.
