How could anybody expect her to sleep when there was so much noise being made outside? The screams of the townspeople reached Morrigan's ears and managed to awaken the beauty her from her slumber.
It was still morning, and yet she was awake. Honestly, this town had a funny way of making newcomers like her feel welcomed. Between this, having to make a line so that she could give her name out to someone she'd never seen before (at least he attractive), and receiving a weird box, Morrigan was really starting to wish she was still in her castle instead of here.
Ah well, she knew better than to let a little abrupt change in scenery bring her down. Besides, it wasn't so bad. There was plenty of "food" for her, and she rather liked surprises every now and then.
Finding a place to spend the night wasn't all that hard either. The local males were very willing to let her stay with them. Last night's lucky winner was an eager young man with blonde hair and blue eyes. For his generosity, Morrigan gave him what she was certain was the best night of his life. And yet... it was also his last.
Getting out from bed and walking through the man's lifeless body, Morrigan stood at the window to see just exactly was going on. She saw white creatures attacking the townspeople at every turn. They were also very nimble dancers!
The creatures weren't demons though, that much she could tell. So what could they be?
"How interesting, I think I'll go outside and have a closer look at them." she said to herself before taking her clothes that had been left scattered on the floor and exiting the bedroom entirely...
