Being embraced by someone of the opposite gender was the exact thing Kuro had been trying avoid. He needed help, certainly, but he wasn’t expecting his arm to be slung around her shoulders and Amy’s arm to be place on his back. He felt nauseated at the mere touch, and he desperately wanted to pull away from the other. However, he did have the common sense to follow her instructions for as long as it took to get to the couch. The moment they got to the couch he had instantly taken his arm off the other’s shoulders. He wasn’t going to touch a girl longer than he had to – and certainly this was no exception.
As he sat on the couch, he felt quite ashamed at himself for being so weak. He couldn’t even stand without the help of a human girl. He cringed at the thought of what the other cousins might think if they found him here. Certainly his reputation with them would be ruined. He fidgeted slightly, wanting desperately just to be able to be able to walk out of the house.
That’s when he noticed something strange in the back pocket of his pants. Curiously, he shifted so that he could take the object out of the pocket and he found himself moments later dangling a rectangular object above his lap. Awkward. He thought he had already discarded the rectangle… thing. This was not the only thing that surprised him – for the object seemed in almost perfect condition, even after he had fallen. What was this thing, anyway?
His question and curiosity was abandoned moments later, though, in favor of the tray of sweets in the human girl’s hands. Apparently, she was offering him sweets in order to make up for the … touching earlier. Under most any other circumstance, Kuro wouldn’t have budged at the sight of cookies and instead would have waited for more treats to sweeten the deal. This time was different though – he hadn’t eaten all day, and those cookies were very appealing to his empty stomach.
“Fine…” He muttered again, agreeing to the girl’s terms. While he disliked the sounds of having to do anything with the crutch again, the sweets she offered were tempting enough at the moment to sway him.
