(no subject)

Character(s): Rodney St. Germain … Rod(M) or Player A and whoever else joins. (Aki? Elena? Bored Turks?)
Content: Niflheim station to the Central Station.
Setting: Central Station
Time: Late-afternoon
Warnings: None yet

Rod disliked trains. In fact, he disliked any machine he wasn’t in control of. He was not the sit and ride sort. Besides, he was trying to figure out how he was going to explain trading away the President’s car keys for a train ticket. He’d try to give the man some gil, but that had been ignored. When the guy had seen Rod’s keychain, he’d offered him a ticket for a few of them. There had been no sorrow in parting with Rude’s carkey and Veld’s office key (which he wasn’t supposed to have a copy of), but the President’s worried him.

Well, according to Elena and Aki, they were stuck here anyways, but if he did somehow find himself back in Midgar, he was going to take the old standby of blaming Reno.

“I don’t know how it happened, Sir, but Reno bumped into me in the hall and then I found that my keys and wallet were missing,” he muttered to himself. That sounded like a good excuse to him. Everyone knew that Reno was nothing more than a thief. Letting that concern go, he stared out the window in clear boredom until they announced the arrival at Central Station.

“Finally,” he growled as he got the hell off the train. Rod didn’t see how people rode them all the time. It would drive him crazy. Looking around, he didn’t see any black suits among the rushing people yet.

The freight train pulled into a different section of Central Station, allowing for the general public to commute without the ugly face of industrial materials under their nose. Jumping off the train was a piece of cake for Elena, but a blonde girl in a sharp suit wasn't so easy to blend in among the boiler-suited railroad workers. She had therefore resorted to the classic 'knock someone out and steal their clothes' routine.

However, by the time she'd slipped out of the freight area and into the general station among the general populace she again looked out of place. But this time as a blonde girl in a boiler suit that hung too low between her legs and didn't quite stretch far enough across her chest. She darted across to a tall pillar and slunk behind it looking for somewhere discreet to change beack into her trademark Turk suit.

"Please, please, please" she thought to herself, "Don't let any of the others see me like this!"

[identity profile] blonde-bullet.livejournal.com 2006-10-28 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
The mumble of passers by and the sudden snap of a mae voice caught Elena's ear and she peered round from behind the pillar. Although it had been years since she was a kid who'd met her sister's fellow Turks, she recognised Rod. Strange how he hadn't aged, but she had matured from being the high school student into a fully-fledged Turk.

Her head sank a little and she let out a sigh. With her options running out she had no choice but to reveal her location, and current scruffy appearance. She pulled down a cap to shadow her brown eyes, and took a deep breath.

"Pssst..." she hissed, leaning out from her hiding place, "Rodney!" she let out before slinking back behind the post & turning bright red in the cheeks.

So here it was...Central Station. Immediatlay she noticed how uncrowded the area was..wow. Nothing like the Migar train stations. Myra walked into the station, scanning the area for anyone in the classic Turk buisness suit. Yep! There was one...

Squinting and tilting her head forward a bit to get a better look for far away, she saw the mass of reddish-brown hair and grinned. "Oh, it's Reno's twin!" she smirked to herself. Taking a step to confront her co-worker until a whispering voice caught her ear.

Psst...Rodney!

They knew Rodney...?

Sneaking up behind the girl, she placed her hands on her hips, shifting her weight. "And just who are we....?" she remarked suddenly, probably scaring the girl. Then again, she was kind of aiming for it.

[identity profile] blonde-bullet.livejournal.com 2006-11-01 01:35 pm (UTC)(link)
This was turning out to be far from an average day. Hit on and insulted all in the space of a few seconds... The former of which she wasn't used to at all. Her scowl at the latter couldn't hide her blushes. Her ambarrasment pretty evident for all... but still she looked just as sulky as she did all those years ago.

Avoiding eye contact with Rod, she crossed her arms under her chest as she turned to address Myra; subconsciously emphasising the strain of her chest against the boiler suit. "Elena." Shortest introduction possible.

"You worked with my sister. You should remember her; looked a lot like me, was also good with a gun. She died years ago." She paused before breaking the bad news to Myra, "So did you. Most of the Turks you know are dead except for Tseng... and Reno & Rude." She grumbled out their names.

"There's only four of us now" she glanced briefly at Rod, "'Fucked up' enough for you?"

[identity profile] fightxforever.livejournal.com 2006-11-02 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
She watched Rod wave his EMR in her face, noting that it was on a low setting, she placed a gloved hand onto the tip, lowering it. Smirking at his attempt to reprimand her, "Oh, I will. Don't worry about that, kid".

Turning her attention to Elena, she brushed some hair behind her ear. "Elena, huh..? Oh!" she blinked in realization, pointing at the woman, "I remember you now...man, you grew." Myra's expression turned sour as Elena's words reached her ears. Her sister died...? When? Myra frowned, trying to piece everything together. She had just talked to Elena's sister yesterday and...

So did you. Most of the Turks you know are dead

The rest of the sentence never registered, Myra felt a sick feeling in her stomach. That was impossible...they were all here, weren't they..? When did they...how did they...?

Shaking her head, she regained her composure and looked at Elena, "Yeah I'd say that, that's…pretty fucked up for the both of us."

[identity profile] blonde-bullet.livejournal.com 2006-11-03 11:18 am (UTC)(link)
Letting out a sigh, a pang of guilt ran through Elena. How could she have been so cold purely because she didn't like the way someone had spoken to her. Oh so very professional.

"Yeah. Sorry" she sighed again.

"No-one knows why we're here or why we've been taken from different times. I was hoping that Tseng or the President would be here to explain the situation."

Thoughts began to race through her head. Just where was the President? Was he safe? Where were Tseng, Reno & Rafe? Shouldn't they have been here first? What if something had happened to him them? With all these 'Old Turks' around, where was her sister... and would she remember the fact that they made amends for the years of sisterly fighting... and did her sister do anything as improper as having an affair with one of her colleagues!?!

She cast a quick narrow-eyed suspicious glance at Rod, then disguised her glance as she continued to look around the station for somewhere suitable to change back into her suit.

OOC: Sorry for deleting & reposting a couple of times. I got my html tags messed up!

So far, the attacks had gone exactly as planned. She had encountered and fought against two of the "visitors" and had thoroughly tested their abilities. One of them could've been dead by now for all she knew, but it wasn't like the Organization would miss him.

With the Nobodies pretty much attacking everything that moved, Larxene figured that it was finally for her to engage in some "other" activities. She was now on the hunt for a specific group of people. They were known as the "Turks" and their numbers continued to grow, with both old and new members arriving in Paixao.

After exchanging comments with Kadaj, she set out to the center area. Eventually, she found three of them. Two females and one male… They were talking to each other about things that she probably didn't care about.

With crossed arms and her hood covering her face, she continued to observe them from her spot on top of one of the nearby buildings. She’d wait until one of them would notice her…

[identity profile] blonde-bullet.livejournal.com 2006-11-06 04:38 pm (UTC)(link)
"Gargoyle?"

Elena had seen some strange things since her arrival in Paixao, but none of them had been as ugly as a gargoyle. Hell, even the Nobodies were sleek & graceful in their own destructive way. So it seemed strange that there should be anything like that here...

She picked up the sack containing her suit and reached inside for her gun. Slipping it inside her boiler-suit pocket she kept her hand on it as she edged slowly around the pillar to get a clearer view of the mysterious carving. With her weapon concealed & in her hand, all her previous thoughts of family, the president, or embarrasing misconceptions disappeared as her brain switched to work-mode.

[identity profile] thunderknives.livejournal.com 2006-11-10 06:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Gargoyle? Statue?

Larxene never really expected much from other people as far as their intelligence went. But honestly... The boy's stupidity aside, she watched as the other blonde woman showed signs of caution. Now that was more like it.

"Well isn't this fortunate." She walked closer to edge of the roof, looking going over each of them for a moment. "Here I was hoping that I'd get to met some of the Turks that are being talked about so much."

Professionals or not, they all seemed to be just ordinary humans, so the thought about surrounding them with a large amount of Nobodies did come to her. However, Larxene had taken a “special” interest in the Turks and wanted to deal with them personally.

Besides, three against one were good odds for her.

He was not willing to admit that he had fallen asleep in that bench. Of course, it had been a beautiful sleep (could you expect anything less?) but he had prided himself in being on his toes for anything. This time... was an exception. It was was a fortunate time, as no other Turks had seen his mishap. Thank goodness.

Glancing down at his watch, Aki noted it was quite late. The bespectacled Turk had been waiting for a while now, and there was still no sign of the President or beautiful, wonderful, sweet, lovely Sabra. Making a noise of mild irritation and disappointment, he stood and stretched, back arching much like a graceful cat. A quick survey of the area and he heard voices nearby. Adjusting his tie with one hand and gripping the handle of his weapon of choice with the other, the scarred man went to look for the source.

Only a few stealthy steps later and he found it. In the form of Rodney, Myra, the little sister of a Turk he couldn't remember the name of, and....

...a bug woman. Who was possibly the ugliest thing he had ever seen. Hideous, more like. She seemed rather hostile too. He was inclined to think that if she didn't get killed by Rodney's stupidity EMR in the imminent battle, then Aki would have to kill her out of pity. Really. How could she live with the knowledge that she physically resembled a cockroach?

Good Planet, the image was terrifying.

[identity profile] blonde-bullet.livejournal.com 2006-11-13 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Still in the ill-fitting boiler suit, Elena narrowed her eyes as she sized up Larxene. She didn't know who she was, or why her hair was as gravity-defying as Cloud's blond-heaven reaching spikes, but she could tell this girl was looking for trouble.

Stepping clear of the pillar she was previously hidden behind, and away from Rod & Myra; Elena positioned herself so that she could get a clear shot if need be. Shoulders back, chest out, and her body slightly at an angle to the statue-esque figure above them; she wished she was back in her Turk suit to give the stance a more greater sense of authority.

"So you know who we are, but who are you?" She demanded.

[identity profile] fightxforever.livejournal.com 2006-11-14 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
Myra rolled her eyes when Rodney began to rant about Reno...again. Everything was Reno's fault with that boy, honestly. Then again, Myra didn't put blowing them up past him. Shifting her weight she crossed her arms.

"If that were the case. I would not be surprised." she managed to grumble out, her mind still having trouble comprehending the whole "dying" subject.

It was then that another one of Rod's brilliant statements was heard. Oh what now...? Something about a...gargoyle?

Oh no, not a gargoyle. Myra raised an eyebrow at the woman, wondering who the hell she was and what she wanted with them.

"Well, you got your wish. Didn't know we were so popular." sarcasm was laced in the words. Elena seemed to be already on the offensive, getting ready to shoot the bug woman if need be. Seemed like a good enough idea. Myra cracked her knuckles, flexing her fingers within the leather gloves she wore. If Elena ran into any trouble, she would be more then happy to take the woman down. Things were getting too boring anyway.

((ooc: :O plz excuse my checking upness~ so if this is incorrect just tell me :D))

[identity profile] thunderknives.livejournal.com 2006-11-16 02:09 am (UTC)(link)
Another Turk had arrived. A good fight would make her day, especially after the rather easy victories she held already.

Who knows, a four-on-one might actually make her break a sweat.

Every one of them was now focused on her presence, which meant it was just about to begin the show. "Me? I'm nobody of importance." She raised her arm and held it out towards the guy with the messy reddish-brown hair and his female companion behind him. "I just hate Turks and want to see all of you dead, that's all."

Sparks and electricity began to gather around her hand. The amount grew larger and denser until it left her arm entirely and traveled straight to the two Turks...

[identity profile] blonde-bullet.livejournal.com 2006-11-16 11:36 am (UTC)(link)
Now that the opening one-liners have been dispensed, the time for words is over.

From the special effects flashing around Larxene's arm she presumed that she was useing a mastered Lightning Materia. Against the two Turks who rely on close-range combat; how low can you get!

Elena took action. With her finger still on the trigger she immediately withdrew her gun from her pocket, focused her sights along the barrel of the gun and took a shot.

Aiming for Larxene's electric hand, even if it doesn't connect, it should buy the others some time.

[identity profile] fightxforever.livejournal.com 2006-11-17 12:37 am (UTC)(link)
A light snicker was given at Rodney's fanclub comment, but before Myra could open her mouth to remark. What looked like lightning materia, shot of the bug woman's hand. Directly at them.

"Shit" she grumbled, narrowing her eyes at the woman. She was about to jump out of the way when she realized that Rodney...being Rodney. Would probably not see the attack before it's too late. If she was going to get him out of the way, she only had a few seconds to do so.

"Look out!" turning back in his direction sharply, she nearly dove at him, knocking him out of the way and tumbleing to the ground, just as the attack passed. The lighting crashed into the wall, leaving a nice dent. Well, that was close. Myra rolled back to her feet and addressed her co-worker.

"You owe me big time, kid!"

Now for that woman...She now seemed like a bigger threat then first thought. Myra went over to Elena, "Elena, can you stop her from firing anymore of that at us...? I can take it from there." she hated asking someone she barely knew for help, hell, she hated asking for help. But she specialized in close quarters combat...if they could stop the woman from firing projectiles, then she would have no problem.

[identity profile] fightxforever.livejournal.com 2006-11-17 10:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Still in position and ready to jump the woman at any moment, Myra turned her head to Rodney. Not relaxing her body for a second as she spoke, "What did you hit yourself with your EMR or something...? Sorry." for once that was sincere, it was more then possible for Rod to have hit himself on the way down; She did kinda of ram him without warning. Oops.

Now how to do this...? Myra scanned the room. It was 3 4 of them against one...Most of them relied on close combat, Aki with his katana, Rod with his EMR, and her with her fists. Elena was the only one carrying a weapon that was long distant. If Elena could slow her down, they could move in from there.

So this woman hated all Turks and wanted to see them dead. Oh, how nice....and just who was she again? She didn't look like anyone they had to fight before, and Myra had never seen her with AVALANCHE. Maybe a resident of this...place that learned of them through an information leak, or someone hired by another enemy to take them out. Whatever, in all honestly she didn't care, she just wanted to get this done and over with.

"Who are you!?" she barked out suddenly, her tone clearly showing that her patience with the woman was more then gone.

[identity profile] thunderknives.livejournal.com 2006-11-21 03:47 am (UTC)(link)
Pulling away her hand before the bullet hit, Larxene turned her head in the direction the shot had been fired from.

Someone with a gun; it would be a good idea to take her out first to keep her from being annoying.

The insects were starting to move and scatter around, and so would Larxene. Lifting herself several inches above the ground, she levitated off the rooftop and towards the street below, landing several feet away from the group of Turks. "You must not have good hearing, because I already told you guys that I was nobody. Now stop talking and let's enjoy this."

Putting her hands together, Larxene raised them high into the air. Like before, electricity began to surge around her arms and was being concentrated in front of where her hands had joined. Growing in size and power (which was much more than before), the Nobody discharged the blast, sending it right through the middle of the street.

This attack wasn't just a powered-up version of the one before it, oh no. There was something else too. Shorting after being released by Larxene, the electricity divided itself into three separate bolts, with two of them speeding towards a Turk, and the third one looking to make contact with the gun the other woman was holding.

Guns made such good conductors nowadays.

[identity profile] blonde-bullet.livejournal.com 2006-11-21 05:13 pm (UTC)(link)
The screams filled the air and echoed around the grand hall of Central Station. With the gun acting as a portable lightning conductor, the bolt surged up Elena's arm and knocked her off her feet.

It felt like she was flying through the air. Time seemed to slow down as she found her vision being drawn to the beautiful archetecture in the ceiling while her body arched backwards. The muscles in her body were locked by the bolt so despite her load mental commands to MOVE! ROLL DAMNIT! she was unable to prepare herself for the impact against the cold marble floor.

The thud of her body paled in comparison to her now-silent screams which seemed to resonate in the electrified air. Although she'd barely moved 10 feet backwards, it felt as if she'd been hit by a burning dump truck. As her body relaxed against the ground she gasped for air.

Pain. Seething pain! Her ribs which were previously fractured from her earlier encounter with Nobodies were now fully broken. Worse than that, the skin on her right hand was burnt where she'd held the gun and the air gained a smell of something akin to cooked meat.

She's been viciously tortured before. If the likes of Kadaj & his freak-show brothers couldn't stop her, then this arogant little blonde weirdo wasn't going to stop her from thinking like a Turk. "Guh.." she groaned. "Guh... Ground...her".

Her voice trailed off as she focussed on breathing & prayed that one of the others had Cure Materia on them. Or even... a Phoenix Down.

[identity profile] fightxforever.livejournal.com 2006-12-01 09:51 pm (UTC)(link)
So Elena was down...Myra wasn't confident in the so-called Turk's abilities from the get-go, and watching her be taken down with one hit really didn't help that. Sure, the girl was electrocuted..but she still should have been more careful!

Sliding in front of Elena and repositioning herself again,Myra addressed her. Never bothering to turn around to do so. "Get up! You're a Turk, aren't you?" with that said, she pointed a finger over her shoulder, the cure materia in her bangle lit up, healing a good percentage of the blonde turk's wounds.

Screw stratigizing, it was overrated and took too long for her. Plus, this bug-woman was really striking on a last nerve. Myra bolted towards Larxene head on. Using her momentum to temporarily push herself off the ground. She spun in mid-air and attempted to connect her foot with the woman's jaw.

[identity profile] knifesxedge.livejournal.com 2006-12-09 03:54 am (UTC)(link)
It felt like everything started at once. A moment ago, there had been stillness and a sort of uneasy tension. Now there was crackling bolts of lightning, dodging, yells, and well... still tension. All of his muscles reacted in the same fashion, coiled like a spring at first, before they were let loose. As a more sniper-esque persona, Aki's first thought went to finding a good hiding space. One where he could see, shoot, and duck all at once. Train stations did not offer such, much to his dismay.

Well, those stone columns would do. The scarred Turk only hoped there were enough for him to repetitively duck behind. Catlike, he made his way to the first column, back facing the fight, but still attentive. Taking a glance over his shoulder, Aki noted the positions of each member on the field.

Larxene was prowling forward, while Myra was trying to attack head-on. Nothing he hadn't expected there. Myra was mostly action and no words. Elena was down for a moment, gun having clattered just out of her reach. She would make it through, the blonde had seen worse.

As for Rod... well, Rod was Rod. Nothing new there.

Shifting to his left and peering out, he took careful aim, gunpoint aimed straight at the bug woman's shoulder. The power was concentrated in her arms, so he figured he'd put at least one out of commission. A crack resounded through the air as the bullet left the barrel, and his hand immediately went down.

No use in letting the cockroach use his gun as an electrical conductor as well.

"Myra, watch it!"

[identity profile] thunderknives.livejournal.com 2006-12-11 08:34 am (UTC)(link)
So much for breaking a sweat.

Though it was now a three on one, Larxene still held the advantage with her speed, thunder magic, and pretty much everything else she could think of. She wasn’t even worried in the least when one of them displayed the ability to cure others. It only meant that she would get to hurt the blonde some more! She would have to thank her for giving her the extra opportunity.

And she knew the perfect way…

Sprinting into a charge herself, Larxene jumped high off the ground. Head-on rushes were so easy to predict. Soon enough, her trajectory had placed her directly above the feisty little girl. She readied her knives, but found herself having to abandon her position in the air after hearing a gunshot.

Landing away from the Turks, she looked at her shoulder, where the bullet had just managed to graze through her coat.

“Is this all you guys can do to me?” She then made a note to keep an eye on the one who had fired that shot at her…

[identity profile] fightxforever.livejournal.com 2006-12-14 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
"Myra, watch it!"

Her immediate thought was, What the hell do I have to watch out for...? She's not going to get me! in all this blind arrogance she failed to notice the woman she was charging at was gone before it was too late. Myra looked up, eyes wide at the woman now above her with knives in her hands. That didn't look good.

Myra was about to jump out of the way before a loud gunshot rang in her ears. Aki...? He shot at her...? ...When did he get a gun..? Shaking off her bewilderment, she nodded thankfully at her co-worker before turning quickly to face the woman again, who was now notably farther away.

[identity profile] blonde-bullet.livejournal.com 2006-12-22 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Coughing off the remanents of the electric shock & the Cure Materia, Elena took a brief moment to bow the lingering smoke away fromthe palm of her hand.

The blast of Aki's shot gun rang through the air and Elena cursed herself, "Damn it, pull yourself together, girl". She heaved herself off the floor and ran low across the floor, scooping up her pistol & swooped behind a bench. Laying low she reloaded & flick bits of charred flesh off the gun. Looking around the inside of the station she spotted a rather heavy looking cast iron chandalier hanging from the ceiling. Watching Larxene's movements she hunched down behind the bench & waited for the Nobody to move under the heavy light-hanging...

OOC: Sorry for the wait guys. Have home access now. Should speed things up again

Summary

[identity profile] thunderknives.livejournal.com 2007-01-13 04:39 am (UTC)(link)
The rest of the battle went by without much change.

Though they all tried various tactics, Larxene's abilities and control over lightning was just too much for the Turks and their completely average human bodies to handle. Eventually, they got tired out while Larxene proclaimed that she was "just getting started".

While she would've continued until they were all dead, the Nobody reminded herself that she was only supposed to stall them while Kadaj did what he had to.

Satisfied with how she had handled them, Larxene put her knives away and said her goodbyes before disappearing, leaving her opponents there to pick themselves and wonder how they had all been beaten by just one woman.
