Karst is definitely going to get a scythe. She hasn't seen any signs of a weapons store, however, which is bizarre in such a huge city. At least there will be an all-in-one store, right?
"I was dying," she said simply. "I'd been forced to assume another shape and fight... someone. The transformation and battle wasted so much of my body's energy that when I reverted to my true form I no longer had the energy necessary to resist the cold. I passed out... and woke up here. Perhaps we should find an all-in-one store and get you some more suitable clothing-- dying of the cold is not one of my more pleasant memories, and I should hate to see it forced on anyone else... unless they deserve to die as it is."
Her face took on a terrible expression as she thought about someone who deserved to die very much. After a moment, however, it relaxed into a more normal look and she sighed. Brooding over revenge was never a good way to impress potential allies, and not only did Alphonse appear to be very powerful or at least intimidating, there was some possibility that Marona had some abilities she didn't know about-- or at least useful contacts.
"I think Alphonse said he'd found a way to contact his brother," she finally said to the last question Marona had, unsure whether it was a good thing or not to be wishing well for this Southern girl who reminded her of Felix. "It involves being able to read, though."
