Ai's eyes widened in horror as the onslaught headed toward her. She bent her knees and pushed off from the ground to take flight, but one of the damn Creepers caught her wing and dragged her back down. Ai hit the ground hard with an audible 'oof, 'hissing as the kicked up dirt settled into her wounds. She kicked, punched, screamed at the Creepers in a desperate attempt to claw her way out. She direly needed to bandage her wounds lest she loose too much blood.
Miraculously, Ai somehow managed to get her ass back in the air, flapping her wings hard to gain just enough air to steer clear of the summoned monsters. This... is the first time I've ever flown. It gave her a small burst of adrenaline, being in the air like this. But she knew this was no time at all to savor the moment; she had to book it before the Shadow Creepers figured out a way to get to her. As her parting goodbye, Ai looked down defiantly at Kadaj and, with a sad smile but smart tone, said, "Love ya, Kadaj. Don't be a stranger, hmm?"
And with much effort and struggling, Ai flew away from Kadaj and his nightmares, only landing when she felt it safe enough to do so.
She was heartbroken, bloody, and fatigued. Paixao wasn't working out so well for her it seemed...
