Shiki didn't seem to be interested in Kiriwar's words anymore. He stepped back a couple more feet, glancing around the area cautiously, yet keeping his eyes mainly focused on the man before him. No chances could be taken with him, after all. It seems Inu would have to wait before he met his end at Shiki's blade.

He was about to turn then, when another form caught his attention--besides the idiot who just seemed to enjoy standing around and watching, there was another man present in the area, one that wasn't blond or blue eyed like the citizens of this place (which was really the only reason Shiki intended to acknowledge him). That was how he picked out the oddballs, after all.

Giving him a good look, his form froze, red eyes widening as realization set in. Akira. Gaze narrowing, a slow grin tugged the corners of his mouth. Giving Kiriwar a side glance to make sure he wouldn't take advantage of his distraction (he really wished he didn't have to acknowledge him right now, as this boy was going to end up getting the majority of his attention), Shiki slowly turned on his heel to face hm.

"What a pleasant surprise." Thankfully, his blade was already drawn. If Shiki's voice wasn't enough to get his attention, perhaps the slow, screeching drag of his sword back and forth across the ground would. He chuckled softly.
