Kuzco stared at the path of one of the bubbles for a moment, before shaking his head and dancing backwards a few steps from Yazoo. "Uh, 'scuse me, but I belong to no one but myself. There'll be no 'taking' of me, thank you." The thought of him being under someone's control made him want to shudder - and also made him annoyed.

His face registered confusion for a moment at what Del had said - how did she know something like that? "Well, normally I am supposed to be one - an emperor, in fact," - and he said that line with more than just a little bit of pride in his voice - "Though I'm still not quite sure of all the facts yet, so you'd have to get back to me on that, 'kay?"
