Songs about hips and hearts [complete]
CHARACTER(S): Ai, and anyone else who'd like to interact with her (preferably male but not limited to)
CONTENT: Ai's arrival in Paixao and introduction, baby!
SETTING: Joutenheim
TIME: Dusk
WARNINGS: Language (Ai gets angry and swears all too easily ^^) and torn clothing which reveals much flesh but no privatesyet. ^_~
Was she finally home?
If she opened her eyes... would Ai see her beloved Ai-land?
Willing herself to pry her eyes open, despite the throbbing pain at the back of her head, she was met with disappointment and a brief moment of fear. This was not Ai-land at all.
"The fuck am I now?"
It most certainly wasn't Tokyo either and she had to wonder if she'd been transported to Earth period. Looking down, she was still decked out in her tattered black dress which meant she had gone to sleep in Tokyo... but somehow found herself here.
"Where ever the fuck 'here' is."
Ai couldn't remember much beyond her performance at Womb in Shibuya. Which has been totally bitching if she did say so herself. It was now that she noticed the not-so-welcoming giants made of stone before her guarding what appeared to be a huge gate. Interesting, what with the crossed clubs. She stood on wobbly legs, scowling about drinking too much or some such nonsense at the club. With no hesitation and her ever present boldness, Ai approached the man at the gate (skipping ahead of at least three other odd looking beings) and barked, "Hey, short stuff. Any idea how I got here?"
To which he replied in an uninterested tone, "Name?"
"Ah, answering a question with a question now are we? I'll take that as a 'no' then."
The gate keeper merely blinked and asked once more, "Name?"
Ai frowned, her hands riding up to her hips. "Ai... why do you-"
"Take this, NEXT!" A heart shaped pink metallic object was thrust into Ai's hands before she could object. She stared at it quizzically before moving forward as the gates opened for her. In her peripheral vision she caught sight of some pamphlets and grabbed two or three, reading them as she walked into Paixao while clutching at her heart-shaped box.

Coming in!
"Name?" asked the person behind a thick pair of rounded glasses.
For a moment, the ivory-haired woman stood silent, examining the insides of the booth. It was fairly dark, but not dark enough to distinguish the one behind the glass as a man, who evidently was impatient.
"Your name, please, miss," he reiterated.
She pondered her answer; then amethyst eyes glanced to the side. "...Urara."
With that, Miyabi cleared the line and passed the sky-scraping gates after receiving a slim and pale silver box.
((Not at all, just glad to have someone to play with!! ^^))
"Arigato misu...hajimemashite?" Keep in mind the last place she was, was Tokyo.

"Hajimemashite," a voice behind her said hesitantly. Miyabi turned her head, fake purple eyes scanning for whoever the voice belonged to.
Source found, the ex-Madness now moved her body to properly face this woman. She inspected her up and down, first noticing the frizzy yet neat hair and impacting eyes; then that awfully distasteful dress. The albino mentally admitted that she had dressed more skimpily in the past, but this woman's clothes just..didn't cut it. She'd have passed as a mauled beggar were it not for her doll-like face and Barbie body. Miyabi raised a brow upon noticing a soft wave of something white behind the girl. She tilted her head quizzically, tall enough to get a glimpse of whatever that was on the stranger's back.
Wings. Real wings? No... can't possibly be real. They were just moving with the breeze.
Realizing her rudeness, Miyabi broke from her silent speculation, giving a small smile to the odd girl as if to say "excuse me."
"Uh...hello?" she started awkwardly. "I'm afraid I do not speak your language."
((Hehe, no prob, sorry for delay))
Ai sighed one hand going to her hip. "Sorry 'bout that but the last place I remember being was Tokyo, Japan." Because there were so many Toyko's. "Any idea how we got here?"

"I have no answer to that question, unfortunately. I was just looking for someone, then suddenly appeared outside those gates. Perhaps we can ask around, or use this." She lifted her almost-white journal, then lifted the cover open. A computer! How useful. Maybe this would help.

[Home].

Shifting her wait to one foot, Miyabi arced a brow at Ai. Maybe she was delusional? Her clothes kind of gave off those vibes.

In response her wings twitched ever so slightly. Maybe the trip here had erased certain memories?
no subject
"Sorry, never heard of Ai-land either. There's a place called Aikand, but it's just a desert. You seem restless about this; why don't you ask around? I'll help you."

He dangled the strange contraption between his thumb and forefinger to a moment, making a face before he turned and tossed it swiftly into the nearest trash bin. Not like he was going to need it -- ten to one he was going to wake up any second now. Had to get up early and help the captain with some paperwork.
His teal eyes scanned the area, one hand coming to rest on Nejibana's hilt out of habit. Kaien raised a brow, frowning as he caught sight of a girl with wings... and a dress that left practically -nothing- to the imagination.
Damn. Last time he'd dreamed up something like -that- had been before he'd even met Miyako. He shook his head. Whatever. Least he could blame it on the bad rice.

"I see you've taken a fancy to Mr. Jet Black over there."

Miyabi hoped that she wasn't going to ask about her history, one that she wants to forget and escape by all means. It had taken so long to shove it behind her, but time to time it caught up to her like a shadow cast by the evening sun.
"Well, I'm going to ask a few people now. Maybe you can ask that guy about Ai-Land. I'll be around." Heels tapping away, Miyabi strode to nearest bench upon which sat three blonde adolescents. Hmm...
((ooc: After this, a posting order should take effect. How does Miyabi-Ai-Kaine sound?))

Speak of the devil, here she came. He braced himself, just in case. Never knew in dreams. She might turn around and end up some freaky looking squid monster or something.
"Yo." The most Kaien gave was a curt nod. Even if he was technically a noble, it just wasn't in his nature to pull all that polite crap. (Respect was a whole other story.) One of his brows arched upwards at her question. Now that one, he hadn't been expecting. "Course I do. Who the hell hasn't? Sorta tough to miss..." This dream just kept getting weirder. Even if he didn't live there, with all the work they did on Earth, he'd have to be some sort of idiot not to know.

"Sorry for the unhelpful answer," the albino said with a sigh.

Not at all meaning to be rude, but overly thrilled this guy knew where she was from, Ai looked back at Kaien and asked, "How do you know about Earth? Are you from there? I'm from Tokyo!"
no subject
And with that, she bowed out and left to venture the depths of Paixao.

Shit. If that was the case, he sure as hell'd better find a way to wake up soon. Wouldn't want to be late. 'Specially with the captain under the weather again. Times like these, he needed Kaien more than ever.
The shinigami pulled himself from his train of thought at Ai spoke to him again, giving her a sort of lopsided smile in exchange for her own broad grin. "Not from there, no. But our duty's to Earth an' its souls, so most've us spend a lot of time over there." He paused, giving another slight nod as he watched Miyabi head off to who-knew-where in dreamland.
((Sorry that took me ages. D: *cries and headdesks*))

((naw you're fine. Figure two more posts and we're done ^^))

... he sort of hoped it wasn't the what option. No telling what might fall under there.
"Eh, sure, whatever, " he said with a shrug. Harmless enough, right? And he was bound to wake up before then no matter how he sliced it. "Name's Kaien by the way. Shiba Kaien." No point in giving rank to someone who wasn't a shinigami; 'specially not some chick from a dream. "Nice to meet ya -- Ai, right?" That was what the other girl had said anyway.
((Works for me. ^^))
