We're not in AREA:RAY anymore, Inu... [Completed~]
Character(s): Rin, Daniel Hall/Dream, the Corinthian eventually. All others welcome
Content: Rin enters Paixao, getting a chill down his spine and wondering why a sun has a smiley face... That's something new.
Setting: Niflheim gate and its general area.
Time: Week2, mid-afternoon
Warnings: References to assorted not-nice things
My, that sun certainly looked cheerful! Rin scratched at the top of his head a moment, before lowering down his hand and tilting his head. He was presently examining the sun up above, which had a rather large smile across its ... face. He gave it a quizzical look, as it just smiled on down at him, the line he was in, and the dome the line was advancing to. He stood here for a good hour, contemplating how he got here. He'd originally been intending to get to the bar that he had introduced Akira and Keisuke to Motomi, but that certainly didn't turn out how he wanted it to... instead of comfortable, dim lighting full of criminals, drugs, and alcohol, he was met by artificial sunlight that filtered out of a smiling sun. Rin frowned at it, thinking something like it was completely illogical. Let alone much sunlight back in AREA:RAY... but smiling sunlight? That was... yeah, illogical. Nonetheless, he pulled his camera out of his inner jacket pocket and snapped a shot of it, just in case he was hallucinating and it didn't have a smile on its face.
After shuffling for a little bit, patiently because he wanted to know what the hell was going on, he finally found himself at the front of the line. Stiffening up and straightening his clothes out for a moment, he turned to the young lady behind the podium and smiled at her as he always smiled, drumming his fingers on the top of the book she was scribbling the last person's name into. When she looked up, Rin tilted his head a little. "Name?" before he could even get his question about the place out, his mouth partially opened, she had cut in with a bored tone. Straightening back up, the blonde frowned once more. How rude... Oh well.
"Rin," he answered cheerfully, replacing his frown again with a smile, albeit an annoyed one underneath the cheerfulness. She scribbled it down in her book, eyed him a moment, before turning in her chair and sorting through a box. He leaned over the podium a little to see what she was digging into, before he nearly got a noseful of a strange, metallic box. Urking, he leaned away from her as she held it out to him, tilting his head like a curious dog before lifting his hands up to take it. "Welcome to Paixao," she said mechanically, before turning to look at the man behind him. "Name?"
... Frowning again--what a record today!--he opened up the soft orange-peach-brown and blue accented contraption, and found it to be like a computer. "Oh?" he tilted his head again, blonde hair following the tilt. A journal! He grinned a little and stepped away from the podium, not before grabbing some pamplets and stuffing them into a pocket. He was glad he had attached his katana to his belt earlier by the thick leather strap he usually carried it by, otherwise his hands would be full. He seemed quite amused at this point as he typed one-handedly into the journal, holding it up with the other hand. Somehow he managed to multitask as he did this, walking along. "How interesting~!"
With that in mind, he decided to type up an entry... as well as investigate other one's that he could apparently access. This device was most convenient... and amusing.
