Saïx inclined his head in a brief show of respect before joining the other man at the table, self-control being the only thing keeping a scowl from darting across his face. "Your sense of humor is enviable," Saïx responded, darkly, with an unconscious show of his sharpened teeth.

The strain of keeping himself reigned in amongst such a group of completely guileless people was beginning to show. Saïx gritted his teeth and purposefully didn't think of the boy who had been following him up until mere moments before, knowing that would only make his annoyance levels rise to new heights. The Superior did not approve of his "tantrums", as VIII had once termed them, and Saïx wasn't about to put his own position in danger by a show of temper.
