Good enough, he supposed, and already his mind was supplying all the different ways he could pronounce the name/title, the more irritating the better. There was no way he was going to take it seriously, no matter how foolish that decision later became.
He looked sharply back at him for a moment when he heard that comment, and after unsuccessfully trying to hide his displeasure at being caught, he said rather quickly, "Yes, as a matter of fact, I am looking for someone. Several someones." Brow furrowing slightly, he glanced around again, not bothering to hide it this time. By this point it seemed pretty pointless to even bother trying, but he was nothing if persistent. "I don't suppose you've seen one of them? A man with spiky blond hair and blue eyes-- they glow a little, you'd like them-- probably carrying a large sword. Or, a silver-haired man, taller than I am, with rather dramatic-looking sideburns? Or a... well, I don't know what it is, but it calls itself 'Desire.' And, lastly..." He trailed off, wondering how he could describe the very last person he was looking for. In truth it was the first person, but how could anyone describe someone like Mother? "You'd know her if you saw her," he settled for saying, sounding distant.
