She looks at him a bit unsure. "I don't mean to bother you, but I was wondering if you could tell me what you know about this plce. I'm a bit lost."

She glances around feeling a bit awkward, because it seemed she might be bothering the man. He sounded tired. Maybe he knew she was going to ask him about the place and he was tired of answering that question. Or he could be having a bad day. She doesn't stand too close to him, and tries to avoid smelling any of the smoke from his cigarette.
