Kadaj just sort of stared at the strange girl in front of him for a moment, completely bewildered but hiding it as best as he could. Help? From him? ... That was kind of sad, really. Too bad he didn't really care. Still... maybe she had seen one of his siblings and could help him find them. Unlikely, but the possibility remained.

He a gave a mental grimace at what he was about to do and leaned slightly over her, his expression carefully schooled into one of slight concern. "Are you all right? Help you with what?" he asked, sounding at least somewhat sincere. It wouldn't fool her if she was really perceptive, but in her current distraught state... well, who could say?
