Enter The Cat [Active]
Character(s): Kyo
Content: Kyo arrives at the Vanaheim Gate, and enters Paixao
Setting: F3: Headed towards Actua Are
Time: Sunday2 about mid afternoon.
Warnings: None as of yet
Kyo screamed as he quickly sat up and frantically groped his stomach. For a moment he felt an intense pressure on his midsection, but it was gone so quickly that he could have simply imagined it. But he hadn’t. He strained to remember what had occurred in the last five minutes.
He had been walking with Yuki and Tohru home from school, the same way that they went everyday. It had been raining, so naturally, Kyo had been exhausted. He remembered walking, and then suddenly getting light headed. He remembered having a vision of two massive trees. He had stumbled and fallen towards Tohru, who, of coarse had tried to catch him. When she had embraced him, he had transformed, and the force of that had knocked him and out of Tohru’s arms. Even though cats are supposed to always land on there feet, Kyo has toppled to the ground, and hit his head. Kyo gritted his teeth and strained to remember what had happened next, but all that came to him was the sound of screeching tires, and an unpleasant pressure on his midsection.
Kyo shook his head in vain, and felt something flop around on the top of his head. He reached up to pluck off what he thought was a leaf, but instead found that his orange cat ears were coming out of the top of his head. He panicked, reached behind him, and sure enough found a long orange tail extending from the base of his spine.
“What the hell?!” He yelled and quickly stood up. He turned around and his jaw dropped. There was a massive gate between two large trees; the trees from his vision. There was also a long line of people that seemed completely oblivious to Kyo. Through much effort, Kyo forced himself to calm down. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. When he did he felt a sensation that was similar to when he transformed. He opined his eyes and found that his ears and tail had disappeared.
Kyo was close to panic when he stepped into the line. He entered the line only because it seemed to be the only thing that made sense. By the time he had managed to calm himself, leaving only a slight sense of irritability at his new surroundings, he had reached the front of the line.
“Name?”
“What?”
“Name?” the person at the gate repeated slightly more irritated.
“Who the hell wants to know?” Kyo replied with an equal irritation in his voice.
“Nobody.” The man at the gate shoved a small bundle into Kyo’s hands, as he was pushed through the gate. Kyo stared back at the gate perplexed. “What the hell?” He said once again, this time to himself. He looked at the bundle that the man had handed him. It contained a brochure, and what looked like a small personal computer. He moved towards a nearby trashcan to throw them away, but then stopped. “Who knows, it might come in handy,” Kyo said as he slipped the computer into his pocket. He looked at the brochure. It appeared to be a guide to the city. Paixao, what an odd name; Kyo looked up at the domed sky and wondered how this whole situation had come to be.
