At this point, Axel was feeling very pathetic and a little embarassed with his current state. Well, he obviously didn't care much of what other people thought of him--it was just an entirely different story when it came to what people he cared about thought of him.

He took a few moments to look up, hesitantly, almost ashamedly, at Namine... and he gave a slight, very shallow nod. His eyes traveled to Kairi and then further back to Sora... then up to the blonde-haired girl again.

Axel didn't know what to say for himself. He frowned, and then looked down again.
