The boy beamed at the nice lady who asked for his name, replying with a singsong, "Akito de~su!" She even gave him a nifty journal thing, for free! Did they also hand out free ice cream? Then that would be really great! Akito danced away (but not before giving the lady a kiss on the cheek), completely ignoring the information booth. Who needed brochures when he or she could skate wherever they wanted? ...Except, nobody else seemed to be wearing A-Ts. Why was that? Walking was so boring.
Akito dropped the thought as he caught a glimpse of the diminutive mage. (Since just about everyone was taller than the boy, it was much easier to take notice of someone actually shorter than him.) And what a strange looking outfit he was wearing! Akito decided that this "Vivi" would be quite interesting to talk to, and re-directed his course so that he skated in circles around the other newcomer.
"Hi there! How come you aren't wearing any A-Ts? Are you wearing a mask? How come you're so short? You're shorter than me, you know!"
The happy boy kept spouting off questions as he glided, finally stopping in front of Vivi after a good minute of cheerful interrogation.
"I'm Akito, by the way! You're Vivi, right? That's a cool name! Nice to meet you!"
