As if in answer to Xaldin’s thoughts, the fiery Larxene showed up. What she lacked in tact, she made up in force. Though he wouldn’t have wanted Larxene of all people to do the job for him, Xaldin had to admit it was gratifying to see her angrily pressing a dagger against Luxord’s chin. He sincerely hoped they’d fight. Eliminating two neophytes at once would be all the miracle he’d ever hoped for.
Looking around, it seemed more of the Organization decided to show up. Zexion was there. No wonder he’d gotten nothing done if he’d been pinned down with managing someone like Larxene. And then Flower Power himself showed up. That would have been annoying on its own. Too many neophytes in one area!
And then he showed up. The Superior circled around the members, and spoke a single sentence.
Another meeting? Dammit, didn’t he learn from last time? Meetings accomplished close to nothing, besides getting the Organization madder at itself. Axel was still on the run. No progress was made in that area, and they’d all be reamed for failure in progress. Axel’s creature was still out there as well, one thing that should have been destroyed on the very spot for attacking the Superior.
But who was he to complain? Superior gave an order, and Xaldin wasn’t about to defy it. He nodded once in acknowledgement, attention still fixed on the tussle between Luxord and Larxene. He hoped Larxene would draw blood. It would be worth it to watch. And if the Superior didn’t separate them, Xaldin surely wouldn’t either. Let them tear one another to shreds before Number One. Entertainment at last.
