Valvatorez wasn't pleased to say the least. He didn't know how or why he was so rudely torn away from his daily routine in Hades to suddenly find himself in the ruins of some city, but it didn't seem like he was going to get the answers to that any time soon. Every time he tried addressing one of the few odd-looking people around of which he could only assume were the city's inhabitants, they either ignored him entirely or reacted rather snappishly. Needless to say, the answers he sought hadn't been very forthcoming so far. Not that it was going to discourage Valvatorez any time soon, if he wanted answers, he was going to get them.
For that purpose he had picked a random direction and set out and it didn't take long for him to figure out that going in a certain direction resulted in seeing more and more of the pale-skinned, blond-haired inhabitants. Obviously that meant he was getting closer to wherever they seemed to be congregating which also possibly meant that there might be someone in charge there that could provide information whether they wanted to or not. He was fully prepared, as always, to use force if necessary.
So with that intent in mind, he made his way through all the rubble. Although that didn't stop him from veering off the path he'd set for himself whenever something interesting caught his eye.

It wasn't the first time a demon had suddenly started acting weird in front of her, not that she particularly liked the reasons why. She was getting rather sick and tired of being asked why she was human or if she was an Overlord. Why would such a sweet girl like her ever become a demon? Fat chance of that ever happening!
She watched his expression, almost daring him to answer her question before she caught on to what he was saying. "Wait... Prinny Instructor? You mean those penguin things that live on the Netherworld floor? You teach them?" She asked, incredulous.
"... what exactly have you been teaching those things?"
no subject
Although that quickly changed when she brought up the Prinnies' training. The way she'd said it made it sound like he hadn't been properly training them. He puffed out his chest, throwing one arm to the side dramatically.
"Why, the rules of being a Prinny, of course! I can assure you they have been taught exactly as they should have been. "
no subject
While there was no accusations in her voice, it was clear that she wasn't very impressed with the so called Prinny Instructor. Why was he so proud of training some worthless penguins that ran away from any signs of danger? All they did was drink and complain all the time... just what was he teaching those things?
no subject
"I teach them the proper Prinny etiquette. Such as ... Prinny Rule number one! You shall always include the word "dood" in every line you say!" He paused, nodding either to himself or some invisible audience. "It's quite a satisfying job actually."
no subject
... not that she would ever become a Prinny. Why would she?
"Well, err, anyway," she awkwardly spat out, suddenly remembering the demon in front of her. "Unless you want to handle the Prinnies they have here, you're kinda out of a job for now, sorry about that. Think of it as a vacation or something!"
Hey, it beats outright telling someone they've been kidnapped.
no subject
Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, for her, Valvatorez was already well aware of what was going on and so her little explanation earned a scoff. "I would hardly call being kidnapped a vacation."
More importantly for the moment in his mind was something else she'd said. "And are you saying there are Prinnies here?"
no subject
And, speaking of avoiding the natives... "But yeah, there's a whole bunch of Prinnies on the Netherworld floor. They're all over the place... but... I don't think they're real though. Nothing really is around here."
no subject
However, the second bit of what she said really caught his attention. "How do you mean? Because the floors are based on memories, is that it?"
no subject
At least, that was what she assumed.
no subject
"If they're memories, then they're real to that someone, are they not?"
no subject
"The memories are real, but the whole place it create is still fake. In the end, the people there are just copies, not the real deal, I think," she finally answered after a few moments. "Urgh... this is getting way too complicated..."
