A Day Off [Active]
Character(s): Tidus, Eleven
Content: Football, lunch, and some Serious Business conversations.
Setting: Various places in the city.
Time: Spanning from mid-morning to afternoon, probably.
Warnings: None!
Honestly, Tidus thought, he probably needed to get out of the house. Even though he really liked staying at the apartment with Yuna most of the time, lately he'd had a lot on his mind - maybe a little too much. He needed make himself focus on something else. So, when the Doctor had asked Tidus if he wanted to learn how to play football, the boy was honestly glad. He needed to run around and get rid of some excess energy, and there weren't exactly any blitzball stadiums nearby (or any teams to play with). Besides, the Doctor might have been a little...odd...but he wasn't that bad. Actually, Tidus liked having him around.
So that's how he ended up here, trying to figure out the rules of football. It wasn't that different from blitzball, in theory. Tidus thought that he'd be able to figure it out, no problem. Yet, getting the hang of it was...well, easier said than done. Kicking a ball on the ground, apparently, was much more different than trying to send it flying through the air or water than he had thought.
Or maybe he was just missing something?
"Er...explain this to me again?" he asked, even though he knew as well as anyone that no amount of explaining the rules would help with the fact that he had completely missed the goal just about every time so far.

If the Doctor said that he should show Tidus how it worked, then Tidus believed that he could.
So he tosses the Blitzball over, not at all resistant to the suggestion. Besides, it was true. Figuring it out for himself would be a lot easier if he could see it first.
"Go for it." he said.
